Travel Arrival Checklist

This checklist is built for the first two hours after landing, when bad prep turns into roaming charges, ATM fees, and taxi confusion.

Checklist

  1. Install your eSIM before departure and screenshot the activation QR in case airport Wi-Fi is poor.
  2. Pack one primary debit card, one backup card, and enough emergency cash for the first transfer into town.
  3. Save your hotel address, immigration documents, and transfer plan offline before boarding.
  4. Know your first ATM target and decline dynamic currency conversion if the machine offers it.
  5. Decide your airport-to-city route in advance so you do not compare taxis and apps while jet-lagged.
